21、 School education is very important and useful. The students both learn knowledge(知识)and get an education. No one can learn everything from school. The scientists, such as Edison Newton, Galileo and Einstein, didn't learn everything from school, They learned a lot of knowledge outside school or in practice by themselves. A teacher, even he knows a lot, can't teach his students everything.
The teacher's job is to show his students how to learn, how to read, and how to think. A good teacher with rich experience in teaching can teach his students the methods(方法)of study. Through these methods the students are able to learn and get a lot of things by themselves.
Usually it is very easy for the students to remember some knowledge, but it is very difficult to use it for problems. 22、We all dream about things that we would like to do and things we hope to achieve in the future. But are everybody’s dreams the same? Here are some of the findings of a survey about hopes and dreams, and thousands of students across China took part in it.
What are the hopes of teenagers?
We received several different answers to the question: What would you like to do after finishing your education? It seems some students would like to start work as soon as possible so that they can help provide better lives for their parents. Other students hope to continue studying after finishing school and to go to university. Although money is important, many teenagers said they wanted to do jobs they enjoyed. According to the survey, the most popular choice of job is computer programming.
What are the dreams of teenagers?
Teenagers have all kinds of dreams. Some are more realistic(现实的)than others. For example, many students said they would like to be volunteers if Beijing could hold the World Cup, maybe working as translators or tour guides. And quite a few said they dreamed of going to the Moon one day. According to the survey, less realistic dreams are also common, but many students reported that they were willing to work hard to achieve their dreams. Quite a few dreamed of becoming famous, perhaps famous sportspeople or singers. Some said they’d like to go on exciting trips. One student said she’d love to sail across the Pacific Ocean. And then there are dreams that are impossible—three students said they’d like to be able to fly!
Conclusion
It was clear from the survey that teenagers have similar hopes. It seems that most students hope to have a good education and find a good job. Besides, students dreamed of very different things: good things, and even crazy things. It is very important to dream, so hold on your dreams and one day they may just come true.

Getting enough exercise is also important at difficult times, such as the coronavirus pandemic(冠状病毒大流行). But in areas with stay-at-home orders, exercising outside may not be as simple as it sounds. French officials have banned(禁止) people from taking part in outdoor sports activities between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Michelle Quinn from the US wrote recently about the situation in the San Francisco Bay area. She wrote, “A lot of people went to the parks, playgrounds and beaches…the government had to shut them down. The areas were so crowded, and health officials worried people couldn′t—or wouldn′t—stay 6 feet apart.” Six feet is about two meters.
In some places, going outside for exercise and playing sports on a team were not allowed. So some people began to exercise online. Beth Berglin is from Florida. Before the pandemic, she would have camp-style classes four mornings a week. Later though she couldn′t go out, she stayed active through online exercise classes.
Some fitness companies are changing to meet the new environment. Fitness centers across the United States helped people stay active by offering online exercise classes. Some fitness centers had free classes, some had longer trial periods(试用期), some cut down the price of classes, some offered free products or service. Many of these online exercise classes were made for smaller spaces and did not need any special equipment. One online exercise company named Obe received requests(要求) for children′s classes from parents. So they designed four 10-minute dance and strength(力量) workouts(锻炼) for 10-year-olds and younger.
During the pandemic, getting exercise might be more difficult, but people tried to change their habits and find new ways to exercise in order to keep healthy.
